Tee Ball Division Overview: Consists of up to a 10-game season and is a basic introduction to baseball. All players play in the field on defense and utilize a tee for batting.. Generally one game and one practice every week during the season. The T-Ball Division offers a fun, instructional league for players who are either new to the sport or still refining their basic skills. Tee Ball is a non-competitive program focused on fun, fitness, and fundamentals where players ages 4–6 are first introduced to the basics of baseball. This is the default league for all players league-age 4, 5, and 6-year-olds. All league age 4 and 5-year-olds will be placed in the T-Ball Division, this includes league age 5-year-olds that played as a league age 4-year-old.

Single-A (A) Division Overview: Consists of between 9-12 game seasons and is intended to be an instructional division of baseball. This level of play fosters continued skills development and a better understanding of the rules and nuances of the game. The focus remains on the fun of playing the sport while more coaching attention is given to fielding, making plays, accurate throwing, proper hitting technique, and preparing the player for machine-pitch at the AA level. This is the default league for all little league-age 7-year-olds. Evaluations for 7 and 8-year-olds will determine the eligibility of players within this age group to participate at the Double-A level. All league age 7 year olds who did not participate in evaluations will be assigned to Single-A.

Triple-A (AAA) Division Overview: 10-15 game season with the option to have a playoff. Intended for the player league ages 8 through 11. A 12-year-old can play with a waiver from Little League. 8 and 9-year-old players who wish to play in Triple-A MUST participate in evaluations. Games will be played under Little League rules with exceptions as outlined in local rules. Players are introduced to more competitive play in AAA. Managers continue to emphasize the development and use of good baseball mechanics for throwing, catching, fielding, and batting. Players also develop an increased understanding of how to play in different game situations. AAA provides a Little League baseball experience and prepares players for a higher level of competitive play in the Majors. Two games and one or two practices every week during the season. This is the default league for all little league-age 10 and 11-year-olds. The evaluations for 8 and 9-year-olds will determine the eligibility of players within this age group to participate at the Triple-A level. Majors Division Overview: The Majors season will be between 10/16 games plus playoffs and town championship games with Southington South and Southington West. Games will be played under standard Little League rules. Intended for the player’s league ages 9 through 12. Games will be played under Little League rules. This division promotes competition to a higher degree as compared to the AAA Division. Within this more competitive environment, the emphasis remains on improving baseball skills, building individual self-esteem, promoting team camaraderie, and emphasizing fair play. The division is designed to be both the satisfying culmination of some players' Little League careers and to prepare other players for higher levels of play including advancement in Little League Tournament play and readiness to move up to play on the full 90-foot diamond. One or two games and one to three practices every week during the season. This is the default league for all little league-age 12-year-olds. Evaluations for 9, 10, and 11-year-olds for Majors will determine which 9, 10, and 11-year-olds can play in Majors. All 9, 10, and 11-year-olds who did not participate in evaluations and/or who are deemed not ready to participate in the Majors division will default to Triple-A. Players will be ineligible to participate in Majors without participating in evaluations.
