All T-Ball & 6U Coaches, Assistant Coaches, Team Moms, Dugout helpers & Field helpers must undergo the USA/ASA background check at www.RegisterUSASoftball.com.
8U through 14U coaches must undergo a mandatory USA/ASA background check and obtain the Level 1, 2 or 3 ACE Coach Education.

The ACE (Aspire, Challenge, Encourage) Coach Education Program is a coaching program, developed and designed to provide softball coaches of all levels – from beginning coaches to experienced veterans – an opportunity to be educated as a coach with a national softball organization.
You must register and complete the background check by your first practice with your team. It will take up to two weeks to receive your ID card but once you receive your USA/ASA Identification card you must provide a copy to BCGSA. Send a scanned copy to [email protected] or text a photo to 979-216-8320. Once games begin coaches will not be allowed to be on the field without a background check.
