Spring 2019 Recreational Baseball - Standard

Head Coach Head Coach of Recreational or Competitive Team. Receives guidance from Divisional Director regarding rules, schedules, and parent/coach/player conduct.

Assistant Coach The Assistant Baseball Coach will assist the Head Baseball Coach in the regular management of the baseball team.

Team Manager Team Manager helps facilitate team communications, assists with team site management, and dugout order and cleanliness.

Shetland Division Director Reports to President. Oversees all Shetland Division teams, coaches and players. Generates, distributes and oversees Division Schedules, Member of the Coaches and Rules Committee. Appointed by the Board.

Player/Coach Training and Safety Director Reports to Secretary. Ensures all coaches are properly trained in Coaching and are First Aid and Concussion Certified. Works with Equipment Coordinator to ensure all Fir Aid Kits are in proper condition. Will work to establish coaching clinics.

Field Maintenance Director Reports to VP. Responsible for all field maintenance Works with School District on maintenance issues

Uniform Coordinator Reports to Secretary. Responsible for bidding every two years for new uniforms for league and for distribution of items to League Directors/Coaches.

Equipment Coordinator Reports to Secretary. Responsible for bidding all replacement equipment for league and for distribution of items to League Directors/Coaches. Develop a replacement cycle for equipment to ensure an even annual replacement cost.

Field Maintenance Volunteer Reports to Field Maintenance Director. Assists in the preparation of fields for games and practices. May include raking/dragging fields, Chalking lines on field, placement of bases and pitching machines and mounds.

Meeting Minutes Taker Attends Board and committee meetings. Takes official meeting minutes and distributes to attendees for review. Submits minutes to website manager(s) for archival
