AGENDA
On Sunday, February 10th, the Burns Little League board met to discuss agenda items as summarized below. This meeting was open to the public and all were encouraged to attend.
- Our Constitution has been approved. Bylaws are in the works and should be out prior to draft.
- Leslie Swafford opened a new bank account at First Federal Bank. Leslie, Terry Malone and Katie Hall will have access to the new account. Leslie has linked a new PayPal to the account and is working to link VenMo and complete account conversion.
- A motion was made by Eddie Holt for approval of an out of boundaries waiver request for Katie Hall and family. Michael Parrish seconded the motion and it was unanimously approved.
- Terry Malone and Nikki Holland have reviewed and updated sponsorship packets. The concession sponsor was removed from draft per the city’s request. Packets have now been circulated to the board and we are actively pursuing sponsors.
- Michael Parrish will update website with new sponsor packages.
- Katie Hall and Leslie Swafford wrote thank you cards to prior year sponsors. We are hoping to renew as many as possible.
- Leslie Swafford will do a flyer for the golf tournament.
- We will discuss the golf tournament, other fundraising initiatives and an upcoming field “work day” at the parent meeting March 3rd.
- The idea of doing a donation night with Buffalo Wild Wings or Marco’s was discussed. Nikki Holland will look into that.
- There will be another in person registration at the fields Saturday, February 16th 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM.
- The board may use the Group Me app to communicate in the future.
