All coaches must pass a background check, which can be done here:  Background Check

Little League is now requiring a mandated reporting class for all coaches as well as a First Aid and Concussion training. We will be using Little League Abuse for Adults Awareness training.  You will need to go to this site and select the course.

After you select the course it will take you to a site to register with USABDevelops.com.  When you put your information in you must select Portland CT LL from the second drop down menu that has the organizations in it. Ignore the first drop down. 

Once you have registered you will go into the USABdevelops.com site and select Education. This will take you to a list of the courses please select and complete the following two courses

1. Abuse Awareness for Adults
2. Basic First Aid

You will need to pass the test at the end of the course to earn your completion certificate, however most of the test is common sense. You DO NOT need to send us your certificate. If you would like to check to make sure your completed course has been accepted go to the USABdevelops.com website main page and select User Directory in the search bar you can input Portland CT LL from the drop down menu hit enter and everyone who has completed their courses will appear. These courses are free to do.
