Woodland JR Wolves

Mandatory Participation Agreement Overview

The WJW Organization would not exist without a strong commitment from our participant families. As a parent or guardian there are multiple opportunities to support our program throughout the year including helping with the large amount of work required to host home games, and helping to raise funds for the organization. Your efforts will not only ensure that your athlete has a positive experience this year, but will ensure that the program exists for many years to come.

The program relies on no less than 65 individual volunteers for each set of home games to prepare the field and staff the snack bar, ticket gate, booster booth, chain gang, PAR, etc. In addition, volunteers are needed on away game days to run the chain gang. Every family will be scheduled for at least 10 tasks. Families with more than one athlete in the program, will be scheduled for at least 10 tasks during the season. Every effort will be made to schedule your mandatory tasks either immediately prior to or immediately following your athlete‚Äôs game time. If you are unable to participate on the date and time you are scheduled, it is YOUR responsibility to find a replacement to work your shift. You may trade dates/times with another parent on your team or you may send a family member (at least 16 years of age) to complete your volunteer hours on your behalf.

Volunteer deposits will not be collected; completion of the full ten participation hours is MANDATORY. Should you decide to opt out of the hours you can agree to buy out, the buy out option for 5 hours is $50 and 10 hours is $100 should you decide to do half you hours. In addition, every athlete is required to participate in the mandatory fundraiser (to be determined). In the event that a parent/guardian does not show up for their scheduled shift, their athlete will be benched from participating in the next scheduled game or competition.

As a condition of participation in the Woodland Jr. Wolves Youth Football and Cheer program, you are required to read, understand and abide by the following Participation Requirements:
  • I understand that I am required to complete a minimum of 10 tasks in support of my registered athlete and the Woodland Jr. Wolves program. In the event I have more than one athlete in the program, I understand I am required to complete at least 10 tasks during the 2021 Season.
