Sabino Canyon Little League is honored to partner with the Chase Little League Fund, a non-profit created in 2025 to honor the memory of Chase Ridenour. 

Chase played at Sabino Canyon Little League from age 7 until he aged out at 13 (2001-2007). Chase epitomized all the wonderful things that are instilled into young athletes who participate in sports at an early age. Chase knew the positive influence coaches have on young kids and their physical and mental development. He encouraged respectful competition, supporting his teammates when they were down and celebrating them when they succeeded. He loved watching the parents participate and the coming together of families.

Chase was an amazing big brother, son, friend, ball player and teammate. Thanks to baseball, he became a leader on and off the field. As a teen and young adult, he strongly desired the next generation of kids to enjoy that same experience. He supported his younger siblings, who also played baseball and softball. This fund is directed to Sabino Canyon Little League to enhance the experience for the kids and their parents so that more kids will get out to the park and register to play.

Registration has gone down and he wanted to see it pick back up and thrive once again.  Chase's Little League Fund will be designed to update the facilities, provide security, bring back the snack bar, and provide scholarships to pay for registration, uniforms, and equipment for any families needing assistance.

As Chase said often, “We need to do something to help kids get back to the park!”
