Western Little League

Tournament of Champions (TOCs)

The Tournament of Champions (TOC) is the end of season competition that celebrates the top teams from across Little League divisions within District 8 and is how we cap off each spring season, a celebration of hard work, teamwork, and heart. It begins with in-league tournaments at Western Little League, where teams compete for the title of division champion. In 2025, Major Giants and Minor Red Sox earned those honors and went on to represent Western at the District 8 TOC. Our Junior White Sox and Intermediate Giants automatically movde forward into the TOCs, as they were Western's teams in their respective divisions.

For these teams, their journeys continued as they entered into the tournament bracket against other top teams from local leagues throughout the district. The competition was fierce, the energy was high, and they all played hard-fought games!

With the 2025 TOC season complete, we’re proud to highlight one of the most unforgettable moments from the division tournament: our Junior White Sox bringing home the District 8 TOC banner.

In the 2025 Tournament of Champions, the Western Little League Junior White Sox didn’t just play, they made a statement. With grit, hustle, and unity, they tore through the bracket and emerged as District 8 champions, showcasing not only their talent but their heart at every turn. With an unblemished 4-0 record, they proved their dominance.

Their offense was nothing short of electric, finishing with a scorching .408 team batting average. Across four games, they collected 42 hits, including 26 singles, 9 doubles, and 7 triples, applying nonstop pressure from the first pitch to the final out.

Their discipline at the plate was just as impressive. With 19 walks and a composed approach in high-stakes moments, they tallied 33 RBIs and crossed the plate 44 times, keeping the scoreboard busy throughout the tournament.

Once on base, they made every opportunity count. With 37 stolen bases and an 88% success rate, the White Sox played fast, smart, and aggressive, turning every baserunner into a threat.

But this championship wasn’t just about stats. It was about teamwork. It was about trust. It was about a relentless drive to win. Every player stepped up, every moment mattered, and together, they brought the banner home to Western!

This team didn’t just win games. They inspired. They led. And they reminded us all why we love this sport.
