As proud members of the Licking County Youth Football League, LHYSL provides a competitive, community-focused football experience for athletes in grades 1st through 6th. Our program is dedicated to teaching the fundamentals of football while emphasizing sportsmanship, leadership, hard work, and character development.

Flag Football

Looking for a great introduction to football? LHYSL Flag Football is the perfect way for young athletes to learn the game in a fun, fast-paced, and developmental environment.

Our flag football program focuses on:

Learning the game in a non-contact setting
Having fun while staying active

Flag football is designed to help players build a strong foundation while developing a love for the game before transitioning into tackle football if they choose.

The Licking Heights Youth Sports League (LHYSL) proudly offers a fun, competitive, and development-focused Tackle Football Program for boys and girls entering Kindergarten, 1st through 6th grades.

Our program is designed to provide young athletes with a positive introduction to full-contact football while building a strong foundation for future success—both on and off the field.

At LHYSL, we emphasize more than just the game. Our coaches are dedicated to helping players grow in all aspects of athletics and character development, including:

Fundamental Skills Development
Players learn proper techniques in tackling, blocking, passing, ball handling, and positioning in a safe, structured environment.
