LHYSL Cheerleading is built on spirit, teamwork, confidence, and community pride. Our program gives athletes the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of cheerleading while supporting Licking Heights Youth Football and representing the Hornets with pride.

Sideline Cheerleading

Sideline cheerleaders bring the energy to game day! Athletes cheer at LHYSL football games, learn chants, jumps, motions, basic stunting, and team routines while building friendships and school spirit.

Our sideline program focuses on:

Cheer fundamentals
Game day chants and crowd-leading
Teamwork and confidence
Sportsmanship and leadership
Supporting LHYSL football athletes

Sideline cheer is a great opportunity for both new and returning cheerleaders to grow their skills in a fun, supportive environment.

Competition Cheerleading

LHYSL also offers competition cheer as an add-on opportunity for athletes who want to take their cheer experience to the next level. Competition cheer focuses on building a performance routine that may include motions, jumps, dance, stunts, tumbling, and formations.

Competition participation may require additional practices, fees, and schedule commitments.
