Licking Heights Youth Sports League (LHYSL) Tackle Football Program

The Licking Heights Youth Sports League (LHYSL) proudly offers a fun, competitive, and development-focused Tackle Football Program for boys and girls entering Kindergarten, 1st through 6th grades.

Our program is designed to provide young athletes with a positive introduction to full-contact football while building a strong foundation for future success—both on and off the field.

Program Focus

At LHYSL, we emphasize more than just the game. Our coaches are dedicated to helping players grow in all aspects of athletics and character development, including:

Fundamental Skills Development
Players learn proper techniques in tackling, blocking, passing, ball handling, and positioning in a safe, structured environment.
Physical Conditioning & Fitness
Age-appropriate conditioning helps improve strength, endurance, agility, and overall athletic performance.

Competitive Play

LHYSL teams compete in full-contact games against other schools and leagues throughout Licking County, providing athletes with exciting, game-day experiences while fostering community pride and school spirit.
