Fall Baseball Information

This contains important information related to fall baseball. If you are planning to register your child for fall baseball here are some answers to questions and specific instructions for you to follow to help us out in making it an awesome experience.

What is Fall Baseball?
Fall ball is an opportunity for players to get more baseball experience. In contrast to the Spring season, Fall ball has more focus on player development and less importance is placed on the level of competition. Fall baseball is especially beneficial for players who will be moving up to a new division in the Spring. There are usually 1-2 practices a week.

When does Fall Baseball take place?
Practices for Fall usually begin in September. It is typically a 10 game season, with games taking place on Saturdays. The season is usually over by Thanksgiving.

Where do games and practices take place?
Unfortunately, TCALL does not have access to Live Oak Park in the Fall. In an ongoing partnership with Arcadia National Little League, we have been given an opportunity to join a fall baseball program. Practices take place in Arcadia (usually at Arcadia National's home field on Longden just west of Peck and at Arcadia Christian School). Game locations depend on the division that your player is in, but most locations are within 10-15 minutes of Live Oak Park.

What divisions are offered for Fall?
Arcadia National is holding registration for Machine Pitch, Farm(Cal State), Minors (PCL), and Major.

What if my player just graduated from the Major division?
Graduating players are allowed to play in the Major division in the Fall. However, we recommend that they play in the next division up. In the next division the bases are farther and there are some rules that the players need to adapt to. For Little League, this would be the Junior division. We are currently in discussions with another league for Junior baseball in the Fall.  We expect to have more details in August. If you have a graduating player and would like to know about their Fall options, you can email Joshua Kelley for more information ([email protected]).

What is the cost?
Registration is $110 for all divisions.

When can I register?
Registration is open now. Registration will close at midnight on August 11th.  However, we highly recommend that you register as soon as possible. If there aren't enough players to form complete teams, priority will be given to those who registered first.

When you register, make sure to indicate that your player is from TCALL.
This should help us in trying to keep players from our league together. Best efforts will be made to keep our players on the same teams. However, based on the registration numbers some players may not be placed together.

You can register at anll.info.

Other information:
- It is highly recommended that you register your child for the division they will be playing in during the next Spring season. This will help players new to a division get some experience and be better prepared for Spring.

- Once you register your player, please let us know that you have registered by sending an email to [email protected].  In your email please include the following: Name of your player, what division they are registered for, any other playing requests.

- If you are interested in being a manager or coach, be sure to register as a volunteer. Also, let us know that you would like to be a manager or coach. You can do this by sending an email to [email protected].  In your email please let us know if you want to be a manager or coach, what division you would like to manage, and any other requests.

- We are extremely appreciative of Arcadia National's willingness to include our league. Because of this we ask our parents to make extra efforts to help out. This includes helping with field work parties to get the field ready for the Fall season. We would like to continue our partnership with Arcadia National and your help will go a long way in achieving this.
