2026 SJMSAA Tackle Football

This is a Junior Varsity & Varsity Football program open to rising 6th, 7th and 8th graders in St. Johns County. The 2026 season begins with a Spring session where evaluations occur in April and rosters/positions will be selected. During the Spring season, practice will begin in mid-April and there will be a Spring game in May.

Football resumes for the fall season in early August. Registration will remain open for additional players who wish to join in the Fall season which is typically late July/early August 2026.

If you played with your team in Spring, you DO NOT need to register again for the Fall season. You are automatically on the team for Fall.

Each school team will vary for dates and locations for evaluations. These details will be posted in March. Please use the football contact page here to locate contact information for your school team to find out specific details.

Registration for tackle football is $500. Fees generally include:

Helmet (returned upon end of season)
Shoulder pads (returned upon end of season)
Spring practice jersey (kept at end of season)
Game jersey (kept at end of season)
Access to Qwikcut game footage
County fees of $40.00 per player ($20 Spring and $20 Fall)
Referee fees and operational fees.
