SJMSAA Football 2024

This is a Junior Varsity & Varsity Football program open to rising 6th, 7th and 8th graders in St. Johns County. The 2024 season begins with a Spring session where tryouts occur April 10-12 and rosters will be selected. During the Spring season, practice will begin in mid-April and there will be a Spring game May 11th.

Football resumes for the fall season in early August. Registration will re-open in July for additional players who wish to try-out for the Fall season in late July/early August 2024.

If you made and played with the Spring team, you DO NOT need to tryout again for the Fall season. You are automatically on the Fall team.

Register to sign up for tryouts for remaining roster spots on your school team. Each school team will vary in terms of dates and locations for fall tryouts. Please use the football contact page here to locate contact information for your school team to find out specific details. There will be a non-refundable tryout fee of $35.00. Once selected for a team the final amount of registration fee will be $465.00.

Registration fees generally include:

helmet (returned upon end of season)
shoulder pads (returned upon end of season)
practice jersey (kept at end of season)
game jersey (kept at end of season)
access to Qwikcut game footage
cost of insurance
county fees per player
referee fees and operational fees.

PLEASE NOTE:

To register for football tryouts, please select your school below. You will note that the full season price is listed, however, during the registration period, you will be prompted to pay a $35.00 tryout fee at this time. Once tryouts occur and athletes are selected for a team, they will receive email notifications that include a link to continue payment for the season price.
