The Saint Johns Middle School Athletic Association offers a competitive sports experience for all middle-school-aged residents in St. Johns County, Florida. Student athletes can participate in various sports associated with the public middle school they attend in St. Johns County or where they are zoned for if they are home-schooled or attend private school.

SJMSAA is an independent, private non-profit corporation. SJMSAA uses district middle school names and facilities under a license agreement with the district. SJMSAA is solely responsible for the operation of the SJMSAA middle school sports programs and their individual teams. The organization’s mission is to promote community citizenship, good sportsmanship, and physical and mental development through healthy, organized competition and team work for middle-school aged residents. The program is open to all middle school students and does not restrict membership due to race, religion, or gender.

SJMSAA currently oversees 14 middle schools and 10 different sports. The sports SJMSAA oversees are: baseball, cheer, dance, flag football football, golf, soccer, softball, tennis and training.

It is our vision to continue growing the program as the population of our community grows.
