Fall Recreational Soccer 2024

Recreational Soccer for children from age 3 (by September 1st) through 8th grade.
 Practices begin the last week of August (or earlier). Our first games are the Saturday after Labor Day, and our season runs through the end of October (or early November depending on weather).

The number of teams and schedules will be set in early August. Due to the number of players that we expect will register for the 6th to 8th grade division, the teams in that division may play some games against Pompton Lakes, Riverdale, at Back Beach and at their field. At the same time, we expect that we will have enough players registered in all our other divisions that we won't have to play any other organizations.

Fees (and discounts) are per player:
  • The registration fee for Pre-k and K is $30, with no early-bird discount, nor late fee.
  • The registration fee for all other levels is $60. However, there is a $20 discount if a player is registered prior to July 5, and a $20 late fee if registered August 1 or later.
  • Register all your children at one time and even across other sports / activities when possible (just keep adding to your cart). We do not control the Sports Connect service charge which is placed per order. Having one large order rather than several orders will save you money on those fees.

Teams / Rosters
  • The maximum number of teams at each level is based on the number of parents who have their S.A.F.E.T.Y. certification and volunteer to coach.
  • For each coach's sanity, we have set a maximum number of players per team. Once that maximum is reached, any later registrations will go to a waiting list. If we get enough players to form another team, and if we have a coach for that team, we'll allow those players to register, otherwise those children will not be able to play.
  • For some divisions we have set the number of teams with the anticipation that we'll get parents willing to coach. If that's not the case, players will be accepted on a first come basis and those who may have registered late will receive a refund.

We especially need parents to volunteer to coach: Pre-K, K, and first & second grade.
