Wanaque Ringwood Competition Cheer

This is a competitive cheerleading program for children to learn advanced cheerleading skills such as stunting, tumbling, jumping, and dance and compete against other teams throughout the season. 

The program holds evaluations rather than a traditional tryout as a way to assess the abilities of our athletes. Everyone who registers up WILL be on a team. Depending on the ages and abilities we have, we will group teams together in a way that will maximize our opportunity for success and winning in competitions. 

There will be ON MAT teams as well as INSTRUCTIONAL teams. Our ON MAT teams will be competing and our INSTRUCTIONAL teams will be a practice only team with performance opportunities (parent performances, or local exhibition if available) 

Instructional athletes can be moved to ON MAT throughout the season 

ON MAT team members will have an attendance policy and sportsmanship policy that is created to ensure proper commitment and behavior needed for the success of the team.
