2025 Spring Baseball

LYSA Little League Baseball is comprised of 4 divisions. Tee Ball, Coach Pitch, Player Pitch and Majors. We are sanctioned through Little League International and follow all Little League rules as well as LL playing ages. Below is a brief description of each division.

Major league is for ages 9-12 years old. This age group offers a Tournament Team of 10-12 year old's and may enter the international tournament. Parents are strongly encouraged to become involved in little league.

- 60 ft bases and 46 ft mound

- 3 Outs per inning

- Games are either 6 innings or two hours

- Leading Permitted Stealing permitted

- Playoffs in this division

Minor Player Pitch is for the ages of 9-11 years old. Tournament opportunities available for player league age 8-10 and 9-11. Parents are strongly encouraged to become involved in this level of little league.

- 60 ft bases and 40 ft mound

- 3 Outs per inning

- Games are either 6 innings or two hours

- No leading, Stealing

- Playoffs in this division

Minor Coach pitch is for ages 6-8 years old. Parents are strongly encouraged to become involved in this level of little league.

- 60 ft bases and 46 ft mound (Coaches should not pitch any closer for safety)

- 3 Outs per inning

- Games are either 6 innings or hour and a half

- Catchers now used No leading, Stealing

- No playoffs If child strikes out against coach, bring in TEE and have them hit off this

- Move catcher out of way.

Tee Ball is a family's first introduction to Little League. Tee Ball is an entry level division for players ages 4-7 years old. Parents are crucial to the success of the Tee Ball division and are strongly encouraged to volunteer as managers or coaches.

- Every player hits every inning once

- There are no outs and runners advance one base at a time

- Coaches can agree to modify rules to allow for outs but all kids still must bat no matter how many outs the fielding team gets

- Coaches can agree to modify rules to allow for doubles if ball reaches outfield. No more than 2 bases though

- No scores are kept

Cancellation Policy:

- If a player cancels their registration up to 10 business days before the start of the season (4/1/2025), a refund will be processed upon request less the website fee, credit card processing fee and any other unrecoverable outlays (uniforms etc.).

- Beginning 10 business days before the start of the season (4/1/2025), no refunds or credits will be given for cancellations unless a state/local governing body restricts the ability to conduct practices and/or games.

- If one or more state/local governing bodies implement laws that restrict the ability to conduct practices and/or games resulting in the cancellation of the baseball/softball season prior to the start of the season, all players who are currently registered will receive an option of a full refund or a credit on their account for next season.

-In the event that the season starts but is unable to finish due to one or more state/local governing bodies implement laws restricting the ability to conduct subsequent practices and/or games, LYSA Little League will offer a pro-rated refund less the website fee, credit card processing fee and any other unrecoverable outlays (uniforms etc.) to offset nonrefundable program costs.

An early bird discount of $50.00 will be applied at check out for all registrations on or before December 31, 2024. Registrations after December 31, 2024, will be at the full registration amount. A late fee will be applied to any registration after 2/28/2025.
