L.Y.S.A. Baseball and Softball brings the game of baseball/softball to the Longwood youth community.  We are dedicated to providing a fun and safe place for your child to learn the game.  The mission of the board along with all the coaches and other volunteers by the end of each season is to teach:

1. The skills of the game depending on the level of play and age group.
2. Teamwork - how to work together and support one another for the betterment of the team.
3. Respect - respecting your teammates, coaches, opponents, umpires and most importantly your family.
4. Pride - play with pride, practice with purpose, never give up and always work hard.  Never quit on yourself or your teammates.  

 

 2019 was another Successful year for LYSA Baseball and Softball.  We entered 3 teams into the Little League World Series Tournament.  2 baseball teams and 1 softball team.  All 3 teams saw success.  The 10u Baseball team played deep into the district tournament.  Our 12u Baseball team won the D36 tournament again and made it to sectionals.  The 10u Softball team won D36, Section 4E and made it to the NYS Tournament in Dunkirk, NY.  The future is bright for Longwood's Baseball and Softball Programs.
