Foothill Area Little League is a 100% volunteer non-profit organization.

The success of our league is a result of our committed volunteers. 
Review the below volunteer opportunities and let us know of any you may be interested in.   
You can indicate interest in these volunteer roles during the registration process. 
Then fill out a volunteer application and turn in to us at Forms Processing along with your ID. 

All volunteers will be subject to a background check, fingerprinting, and must complete 3 online certifications.

Manager
1 per team
Teach and demonstrate good sportsmanship
Understand and comply with little league game rules
Set your team lineup for all games
Team communication and discipline
Field preparation and cleanup 
Attend coach training

Assistant Coach
2 per team
Assist Manager where needed
Teach and demonstrate good sportsmanship
Understand and comply with little league game rules
Skill instruction and base coaching
Field preparation and cleanup 
Attend coach training

Scorekeeper
1 per team
Record scores for each home game
Keep count of pitches and record in score book
Report information to Manager

Team Parent
1 per team (Spring Season only)
Create the team banner for Opening Day
Coordinate the team basket for the Silent Auction
Work with the Snack Bar Coordinator to ensure Snack Bar coverage
Work with the Coaches to organize an End of Season party
Purchase any medals/trophies for the team as needed (i.e. Tball)

Snack Bar Volunteer
2 per shift (Spring Season only)
Plan to work 2 shifts during the Spring Season
Work the Snack Bar for a two-hour shift
Take orders, payments, and prep food
Kids 12 and over can assist their parents in the Snack Bar
Kids 16 and over can work a Snack Bar shift without their parent
All proceeds go straight back into the League for field maintenance, equipment, etc.
We always need more Snack Bar volunteers!!

Field Prep
2 per team
Arrive 45 minutes prior to games to prep the field
Only responsible for prepping during Home games (Away games the other team should prep)
Drag the field to flatten and remove bumps (possibly spray the dirt if needed)
Use the Chalker and Home Plate Template to draw lines
Place the first, second, and third bases on the field
If we don't have a volunteer do this, the Coaches end up taking on this extra responsibility and they already have enough to do coaching our kiddos!
