Become a Manager or Assistant Coach!

Foothill Area Little League is a 100% volunteer non-profit organization.

The success of our league is a result of our committed volunteers. 
Review the below volunteer opportunities and let us know of any you may be interested in.   
You can indicate interest in these volunteer roles during the registration process. 


Manager
1
per team
Teach and demonstrate good sportsmanship
Understand and comply with little league game rules
Set your team lineup for all games
Team communication and discipline
Field preparation and cleanup 
Attend coach training


Assistant Coach
2 per team
Assist Manager where needed
Teach and demonstrate good sportsmanship
Understand and comply with little league game rules
Skill instruction and base coaching
Field preparation and cleanup 
Attend coach training

Training and Requirements

All Managers and Assistant Coaches are required to complete a number of requirements.  
These requirements are to ensure the safety of our players.

You will be required to complete the following to be a Manager or Assistant Coach:
Complete a volunteer application form and submit with your ID (annual)
Complete JDP Background Check (annual)
Complete LiveScan Fingerprinting (one-time)
Complete Abuse Awareness Training (annual)
Complete Sudden Cardiac Arrest Training (one-time)
Complete Concussion Awareness Training (one-time)

For the Abuse Awareness Training:
Sign in or create your account on USA Baseball first, 
hover over the Education tab, and select Course Catalog.
It should take you to the course, you may need to sign in again.

All Star Managers and Coaches must complete an additional training:
Complete Diamond Leader Training (annual)
