The 2024 Summer Sandlot Series is officially full. 


Welcome to the Summer Sandlot Series, where baseball meets the laid-back spirit of the iconic sandlot game! Sandlot is geared towards athletes with multiple seasons of baseball under their belt, who do not require any coaching to play the game. Our open-play series is designed for athletes transitioning to the next level, offering a unique opportunity for kids to experience the thrill of kid pitch in a relaxed and fun environment.

What is Sandlot Baseball?

Sandlot baseball is all about the love of the game. Parents are not just welcome, but highly encouraged to stay and interact with the players, while coaches are invited to explore coaching options. It's a voluntary, community-driven initiative aimed at bridging the gap between Pinto, Mustang and Bronco divisions, allowing young athletes to test their skills in a casual setting. Program Details:

• Games: Pickup games across multiple fields with Mustang and Bronco divisions.
• Pitching: Only kid pitch—no machines!
• Teams: Players are randomly assigned each week to foster camaraderie and sportsmanship.
• Ages: 7 to 11 years old, with age taking a backseat to skill level.
• Coaching: Volunteer coaches will assist with game management, but there is no formal instruction—just kids getting outside, playing ball, and making memories.
• Parents: Encouraged to stay.

• 5/22/24: Sandlot
• 5/29/24: Sandlot
• 6/5/24: Sandlot
• 6/12/24: Sandlot
• 6/26/24: Sandlot
• 7/10/24: Sandlot
• 7/17/24: Sandlot 

Cost: $25 for the entire series. 

What to Bring: Athletes must bring their mitt, bat, batting helmet and water bottle. Pants & rubber cleats are encouraged.
