Host League provides umpires* – 2 or more (*during Pool Play)
Umpires do a safety inspection of the game field and advise Managers of teams that they are responsible for legal/safe equipment, (new 2025)
During the pregame meeting, make sure that players are properly equipped to play per LL Rulebook. (are wearing an athletic supporter, catchers have a hard cup).
