BHLL 2025 Fall Ball

Fall Ball is a great opportunity for our players to continue to develop their skills and prepare for the next level. The primary focus of Fall Ball is to provide further instruction of the game.

Fall Ball will be in the CT District 5 league. The schedule is typically 1 practice during the week and games on Saturday and Sunday. The season will begin in early September.

Any child who has just completed their last eligible spring season in Majors (12 years old) MUST move to the Transitional League.

No child under the age of 8 will be permitted to play. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Baseball will have three levels, depending on registration numbers:

Little League Fall Ball - For players aged 8-11. There will be a silver and gold division. If a player played in the majors division in the spring of 2025, then they must play in the Gold Division. The silver league plays by the minors rules out of the green rule book, and the gold league plays by the majors rules out of the green rule book.

Transitional League (Intermediate) - For players who are 2025 baseball years age 12. This is one age group only and allows 12-year-olds to experience their first season on the 90-foot Big Diamond and the Intermediate 50/70 field. If the game is on a 90-foot Diamond, the play is regulated by Junior League rules out of the green rule book. It is probable that teams may play two games a weekend, one on each field.

Senior League - For players that are Little League aged 13-16 for the 2025 Season. This league is broken into two subdivisions, Upper and Lower. This is to try to get as many kids playing at the appropriate competition level. Given the number of teams, Upper division teams may have to play games against Lower division games.
