District Teams
This year, BHLL will be sponsoring
10u
and
12u
teams in the District Tournament. Team determination is based on several factors, including league composition, player availability, and creating the best possible experience for all of our players.
The District Tournament is the first stage of the Little League International Tournament, bringing together top teams from across the district for a fun and competitive experience with the potential to advance. This opportunity challenges players at a higher level of play and helps them grow as teammates and leaders.
District practices typically begin immediately after the regular season ends and continue into early July. Coaches will provide more specific details to selected players.
Selection for District Teams is based on:
Skill level and effort throughout the season
Sportsmanship and attitude on and off the field
A vote by coaches and players
Player availability for practices and games
Head coaches will contact selected players

Lindquist Tournament
BHLL also plans to field a team in the
Lindquist Tournament
, hosted by Farmington Little League. This tournament brings together teams from neighboring towns for a fun, competitive experience at Farmington’s Little League Complex and provides another opportunity for players to compete at a higher level.
This team will be composed of players not participating on a District team, and we will compete in the non-District bracket. The tournament typically runs throughout July.
To confirm our ability to field a team, we need to verify player interest and availability for July, and potentially the first weekend of August. Players being considered for the Lindquist team will be contacted
by 5/27
to confirm their availability and interest in participating.
Because we will compete in the 12u bracket, rosters are generally made up of 11/12u players, with 10u players considered based on skill. The tournament follows Majors rules of play.
Additional details will be shared once interest and availability are confirmed.
