Crown 9u Wins State!

On Saturday, June 29, the Crown Colony 9u All Stars completed their quest to win the state championship by beating the Taylorsville 9u All Stars by a score of 10-5. On the road to the final game, these same teams had played twice in the last week, splitting the games with Crown winning the first one, 13-5, and Taylorsville winning the second, 7-2. Our team enjoyed playing the first and second rounds of the brackets at the Crown Colony Field and some home cooking. The championship round of two games was held at Murray's Grant Park. 

Congratulations to all the players, coaches, and parents for all of the practice you put into this accomplishment.

Last year, the 8u team was state runners-up to Taylorsville. This is the first state championship for a Crown Colony team in more than five years.

Crown Colony is associated with Babe Ruth/Cal Ripken Baseball. They provide local, state, regional, and national opportunities for competition including a World Series at each age level between 7 and 18.
