FRIEND REQUESTS

Friend requests are accepted but cannot be guaranteed.

INTACT TEAMS

As a recreational league that strives for equal opportunity amongst its players and teams, Crown Colony does not accept intact teams into the spring league.

LEAGUE DRAFT

Following tryouts, the league shall endeavor to create even teams at each age level. A draft is one way to accomplish this. Utilizing evaluations from the tryouts, up to two representatives of a team may participate in the draft.

The draft begins with each team identifying the 1-2 players associated with its coach(es) for the team. The group of coaches will agree upon a rating for these players based on the round they should be drafted in. Coaches will draw a number from a hat to determine the draft order. The draft order will snake from first to last, then last to first, and back and forth until all players have been chosen.

All requests to play together will be disclosed at the outset of the draft.

Trades are accepted during or after the draft, but must be done before the first game. Trades are wholly the decision of the two teams involved in the trade. If a trade happens, it is the responsibility of the coaches to inform the league representative managing team rosters in order to inform the parents/players, adjust rosters, and distribute new information.

NO REFUNDS

Participants should consider registration carefully. There are no refunds. On a rare occasion and prior to tryouts, a refund may be considered. However, in no case is a refund granted after tryouts.

NON-BASEBALL EVENTS AT CROWN COLONY FIELD

The Crown Colony board is currently not accepting requests for non-baseball events at the Crown Colony field. At this time, the organization is not prepared to host, staff, and accept liability for private events at the field.

YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

At no time will the Crown Colony board, its directors, or the organization provide anyone with personal information about a player and/or a player’s family members from its database. While contact information is provided to the head coach each season in order to contact parents, this information shall not be distributed further than the head coach and team parent.

For example, coaches and/or parents are allowed to form teams that include Crown Colony players that will play outside of Crown Colony’s season and outside of its facilities. However, the league will not provide the coach(es) and/or parent(s) with any personal contact information about potential players for the purpose of forming a team outside of Crown Colony.

If someone is found to have distributed personal information beyond normal limits, the board shall consider penalties, including suspension from the league.
