Board Membership

First, I would like to extend a warm thank you to our 2018-2019 Board Members.  I applaud and am so grateful for each and every one of you- for the time you have already given so freely prior to the season beginning, and the sacrifices each of you make daily, in order to help make North Valley Little League one of the best, well respected youth baseball leagues in Northern California.  Please join me in welcoming our 2018-2019 North Valley Little League Board Members, some of whom are new, and some who are past board members, as we establish together, a precedence of professionalism and excellence. The sacrifices of everyone’s time and efforts, in addition their unwavering dedication to this league, are greatly appreciated.

Board Positions

Interested in making lifelong friends and being more involved with our League? Help make our League outstanding and show your support? Would you like to be involved and be part of the Board?  There are still a few Board positions available, as well as committee positions, if you would like to assist in the running of our League. We welcome everyone, as it is our volunteers that make will make us a great League- the amount of members we have will be paramount to the strength of our League.  Please contact me at president@nvll.org if you are interested.

Why should you volunteer? 

North Valley Little League is 100% self-funded and 100% run by volunteers. None of our board members, managers, or other volunteers receive any compensation for their countless hours of work. It is our volunteers that make our League great, therefore we call upon everyone to help out. Volunteering your time only goes to further the betterment of the players within our League, so please don’t be shy -- just ask any Board member or coach, “How can I help?”, as help comes in many forms, from very small roles to much larger ones.   No matter how you volunteer, you will find it is one of the most satisfying things you can do for your children.

Our income comes entirely from registration fees, fundraisers, the snack shack, and sponsorships. Our expenses include uniforms, equipment (catchers gear, baseballs, etc), utilities, taxes & insurance, and field maintenance (we do not receive money or consistent services from the city to pay for this). It comes down to our parents, Board and volunteers to put in the effort to continue to raise funds for the League’s financial needs.
