2025 Spring Softball Season

2025 Spring Softball Season


PLEASE READ THIS PAGE IN ITS ENTIRETY BEFORE PROCEEDING WITH REGISTRATION

The Little League program includes divisions for all children, ages 4–16. 

Softball divisions consist of the following programs:


Division Prices (Effective 11/1/2024):

Early Bird:
T-Ball : $200
Farm: 210
Minors / Majors: $275
Juniors: $290

Regular Rate:
T-Ball: $225
Farm: $235
Minors / Majors: $325
Juniors: $350

Late Registration:
T-Ball: $250
Farm: $260
Minors / Majors: $350
Juniors: $375

Every player will receive a uniform (jersey, hat, belt, socks) and participation trophy with paid registration.

Please Note:

In the event that a division cannot get enough players or coaches (including support volunteers), players will be reallocated based on age wherever possible, or a division may be cancelled.

Tentative Season Dates:

Regular Season: 3/8/2025 - 5/17/2025. Games are tentatively expected to begin on Saturday, March 8, 2025, however the season dates have not been finalized. The current season dates are place-holders. We will issue an update as soon as the dates are confirmed.
Post Season: Jamboree and All Stars: Approximately 6/15/2025 - 7/15/2025

Online Registration Requirements:

1 - Player Eligibility:
  • League Boundaries: Confirm that your player's school or home address are within SJNLL's boundaries: League Finder. Any player that does not qualify for participation at SJNLL based on residence will be ineligible to play in any tournaments, including, but not limited to, TOC, Slug Fest and All Stars.
  • League Age: Determine your player's League Age. Your player’s league age is directed by the Little League Baseball Age Charts, and determines the division in which your Little Leaguer will play this season. The Age Determination Date for a Little League Baseball player is the actual age of a child on August 31 of the current year. Please review the League Age Calculator or the 2024 Baseball Age Chart for League Age determination.
  • League Divisions: Review the Little League Baseball divisions for age range and descriptions.

2 - Player Registration: Follow online steps to register yourself and player in the online system, or Login if you are returning.

Form Acknowledgement: Review and acknowledge the following forms during Registration:

4 - Form Uploads: The following forms are required to be uploaded to your online profile during registration:

Birth Certificate:
  • A picture of your child's birth certificate can be uploaded when prompted during registration

Medical Release Form:
  • Please download the form here: https://www.littleleague.org/downloads/medical-release-form/
  • Form can be completed on your computer or can be printed.
  • You must upload your medical release form when prompted during registration. You will not be able to proceed without completing this step.
  • If you completed the form on your computer, please upload the PDF file
  • If you printed the form, please take a picture of it and upload the picture of the form

Proof of Residency:
  • Documentation must be uploaded to support residency or school enrollment within SJNLL's league boundaries. Please choose one of the following to provide proof:
  • School Enrollment Form
  • Please download the form here: https://www.littleleague.org/downloads/school-enrollment-form/
  • Form must be completed and signed by a school administrator, then uploaded into your online profile.
  • OR provide THREE (3) Proofs of Residency as listed in the Little League Residency Checklist.
  • You are required to provide one document from EACH of the three groups outlined in the Checklist. 
  • Checklist documents must be dated/in force between February 1, 2024 and February 1, 2025.

5 - Volunteer Hours and Deposits:
All families who join the league are expected to volunteer for the league.

Volunteering Deposit:
A Volunteer Deposit of $200 per player is due at the time of Registration.
  • If registering multiple players, the total amount for the Volunteering Deposit will not exceed $500.
  • Example: First player - $200, Second Player - $200, Third Player - $100, Fourth Player - $0

Deposit Return:
  • In order to have your volunteer deposit returned, the following must be completed:
  • Sign up for and complete a total of at least seven (7) volunteer hours during the regular season AND
  • Sign up for and complete TWO (2) Snack Shack shifts.
  • Your first two (2) Snack Shack shift hours are IN ADDITION TO the 7 hour requirement.
  • You may sign up for additional snack shack shifts to fulfill your seven (7) hour requirement.
  • Your $200 volunteer deposit will be refunded in full when a player's parent can satisfy 9 hours of volunteer service, including two (2) mandatory snack shack hours.
  • Your $200 volunteer deposit will be forfeited to the league if the volunteer requirement is not met prior to the end of the season
  • Upon completion of the volunteering commitment, your deposit will be refunded back to the credit card used during Registration.

Please Note: All volunteers must complete a Background Check prior to volunteering. Please select Volunteer Requirement/Other from the Team Staff page during Registration to fill out your Volunteer Background Check form.

Examples of volunteer roles:
  • Game Day Roles: Field Set-up/Tear Down, Snack Shack & Umpiring
  • Team Roles: Manager, Coach, Assistant Coach, and Team Parent
  • League-Wide Roles: Board Member & Coordinator Roles

6 - Registration Payments:
  • Completing your Registration: Complete your registration by selecting a division, and making a payment via credit card. Payment must be made to complete online registration.
  • Waitlist: If the division you're signing up for is full, you may be placed on a waitlist. Once your Registration is activated from the Waitlist to a division, all outstanding balances are due within 24 hours of notification in order to reserve your spot. If payment is not received, the opening will go to the next person on the Waitlist.
