Volunteer Policy and Requirements

SJNLL has seen great success over the past few years both on and off the field.  Our parent volunteers - Board Members, managers, coaches, umpires, team parents, etc. - are what make up this small and mighty community. Without you this league would not exist! Please find below the volunteer requirements for being a member of the league and other opportunities throughout the year.

Volunteer Requirements

In order to complete your volunteer requirement for the league, you must:

Sign up for and complete a total of at least seven (7) volunteer hours during the regular season AND
Sign up for and complete TWO (2) Snack Shack shifts.

Your first two (2) Snack Shack shift hours are IN ADDITION TO the 7 hour requirement. You may sign up for additional snack shack shifts to fulfill your seven (7) hour requirement.

Your $200 volunteer deposit will be refunded in full when the parent(s) of a player can satisfy 9 hours of volunteer service, including two (2) mandatory snack shack hours.

Snack Shack Shift Cancellation

Snack shack shift cancellation within 24 hours or find a replacement.  If shift is canceled within 24 hours and a replacement cannot be found, deposit for specified child shift will be forfeit. One (1) exception will be provided.
