MWLL Player College Scholarships: (Final applications due by 5/27/23
First, for seniors who will attend a 2 or 4-year college/university or military and have participated in the Monroe-Woodbury Little League Baseball or Softball League programs for a minimum of 5 years (need not be consecutive).
Academic Requirements:
Recipients are required to provide a copy of their acceptance letter from the institution that they will be attending.
Current cumulative grade point average of 85% or better along with a letter of recommendation, from a teacher/school administrator/community/public official.
Submission of a TYPED essay of a minimum of 250 words about their experiences in the MWLL/MWGSL and what teamwork and sportsmanship mean to you both on and off the field and how those traits can be positive factors and implemented in future education/plans.

Second, for seniors who plan to attend a 2 or 4-year college/university or military and have participated in the Monroe-Woodbury Little League Baseball, or the Monroe-Woodbury Girls Softball League programs for a minimum of 5 years (need not be consecutive). A current cumulative average of 90% or better is required, along with a letter of recommendation, from a teacher/school administrator/community/public official. Students are required to submit a TYPED essay of a minimum of 350 words about their experiences in the MWLL/MWGSL and what teamwork and sportsmanship mean to you both on and off the field and how those traits can be positive factors and implemented in future education/plans.
Additionally, volunteer work/community service is required from a reputable community organization. A signed letter from the volunteer organization is required.
