o    Players must try out for their respective teams each year and are not guaranteed automatic succession to the next grade level for the next season.

·       Practices: Each team will practice 1-2 times per week for the duration of the season, beginning the first week of December.

·       Games: Teams in the ICBA League will typically play a 10-12 game regular season, plus playoff games for those teams that qualify. Approximately, half of the games will be away and half will be home games. Opponents generally reside in Montgomery, Bucks, and Delaware counties, most within a 45-minute radius. Every attempt will be made to schedule weekend games. However, there may be some weeknight games as well.

·       Priority: Every effort will be made to attempt to avoid conflicts. However, LYA Rec League games and practices should be treated with priority in the event there is a conflict with an LYA Travel Team game. The exceptions to this rule are (1) if the Travel Team is in the semi-finals or finals of the ICBA league playoffs, or (2) if the absence of a player(s) would cause the Travel Team to forfeit a game. The Travel Team players are the lifeblood of their respective LYA rec league divisions, and every effort should be made to attend all LYA rec league practices and games. If a Travel Team player has excessive absences from his/her LYA rec league practices and/or games, the league commissioner reserves the right to remove the player from the Travel Team program without refund.

·       Playing time: All players on a travel team are required to play in every game. However, equal playing time is not guaranteed. Playing time is at the discretion of the head coach of each team. Skills, attitude and commitment, along with other factors, are all variables as to why a player may not get as much playing time as others on the team.

Facilities: LYA travel league teams will use the same facilities as the LYA rec teams.

Uniforms: Players will receive an LYA travel league reversible uniform - jersey and shorts
