Little League to Adopt New USA Baseball Bat Standard January 1, 2018!

Please note that as of January 1, 2018, the new USA Baseball Bat Standard will be implemented. Little League-approved baseball bats that are approved for use for the 2017 season will no longer be acceptable for use in any Little League game or activity starting on January 1, 2018.

IMPORTANT: What this means is that any bat purchased for this season will only be usable for this season. Next season all bats that bear the USABat licensing mark (below) will be permissible for play in the leagues and tournaments of the participating youth baseball organizations.

Bat manufacturers should have new bats available in the fall of 2017, in sufficient time for the 2018 season.
