Coach Keegan is an Eastside Timbers product who began playing for the club when he was 5 years old. Keegan played recreational soccer until he was13 before switching to the competitive side. At the youth competitive level, Keegan was a State Cup Champion, Nomads Cup winner, 2-time Oregon ODP State Captain, a Region IV selection, and a member of the Portland Timbers U-23 roster. As a high school athlete, Keegan was a 7-time All-State Selection and a 2-time State Champion across two sports. After the conclusion of his youth career, Keegan traveled to Bellingham, Washington to compete for Western Washington University. Keegan was a 4 year starter and currently holds several school and GNAC records from his tenure with WWU. Keegan also graduated from WWU with an English degree with a teaching emphasis. After college, Keegan received invites to the Arizona United, Real Salt Lake, Seattle Sounders, and Portland Timbers 1st team camps. Keegan competed in the Desert Diamond Cup with FC Tucson during this time period and later joined them for the PDL Season. After a successful season with the FC Tucson, Keegan traveled to Sweden and Denmark to play professionally abroad. Keegan then came back to the Northwest and began coaching on a more consistent basis.
After arriving back from Europe, Keegan began coaching at Titans FC in Bellevue, Washington. Keegan coached several teams for the club and was also the club’s Director of Goalkeeping. During his time there, he also began coaching for the PSPL Surf Academy as an assistant coach and a goalkeeping staff coach. Coach Keegan continues to work with the Surf Academy’s B07 and G05 age group. Coach Keegan has also worked with Pro Elite Technical Training, Western Washington’s Men’s program, and Oregon Premier Futsal. When Keegan is not on the field coaching, he is the Eastside Timbers’ Marketing and Communications Director. Keegan's father, Glenn Rogers, is a long time coach for Eastside Timbers. Keegan's younger brother, Austin Rogers, is currently a professional goalkeeper who competed with Eastside Timbers his entire career before turning pro. Keegan's youngest brother, Cameron Rogers, is another Eastside Timbers product who competed at the International level with the US Paralympic National Team.
