The Almaden Little League and Almaden Valley Girls Softball League are excited  to announce that we have joined forces to form a SINGLE strong league for our community. Almaden Little League Baseball and Almaden Valley Girls Softball will now be Almaden Little League Baseball & Softball League. By combining our resources as well as leveraging the Little League International brand, it is our strong belief that we will be able to provide more resources more efficiently. We will build on our strong community support and open the window to the vast resources offered by Little League International. 

The main reason we combined leagues is that we want Almaden to be able to offer youth Baseball & Softball for many years to come.  There will be some changes as we navigate through this potential upcoming season but our goal is to manage the transition as seamlessly as possible and keep changes to a minimum. We will be playing on the same fields and using the same rules. The Board is committed to incorporating best practices from each league when making any decisions or changes. We expect our Board to include representation from the baseball and softball leagues and are excited to hold our first combined meeting in a few weeks. 

We look forward to working with all our families as we build a better and stronger league for all families of Almaden and surrounding areas.
