COVID-19 Related Tryout Instructions

These instructions are based on our 2020 camps.  We will of course monitor the state guidelines as to how we will manage camps this summer.

Please find the appropriate information for next week and please do not hesitate in contacting us if you have any questions.

Players must be pre-registered
     - CSA Newark will use Jimmie Wandling and Kieran Patrick as lead/contacts for all matters relating to COVID-19
     - Players and staff will be required to record their temperature at home prior to attending training.
     - Players or staff must report a high temperature (>100.4 degrees F) and/or any symptoms.
     - Hand sanitizer stations will be available at entry and exit points to the field.  Contact surfaces will be disinfected after each session.
     - Temperature of each player will be taking prior to entering the facility.  A high temperature (>100.4 degrees F) will force the player or coach to return home.
     - All case reporting should go through our lead contacts as listed above.
     - No signs or symptoms of COVID-19 in the past 14 days and have no known exposure to someone that has been ill in 14 days.
     - Have no above normal (less or equal to 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit) temperature readings; temperature checks should be conducted by players and their families prior to attending training.
     - Players should bring their own ball.  They will be sanitized before and after each session.

Social Distancing on Arrival & Departure:
Players should wear masks as they arrive and immediately after the session.  They can remove the face cover (if they prefer) immediately before joining their team’s session.  We were very impressed by the players respect and understanding for social distancing.

 Parents:
It is great that parents want to watch and support, but please make our roles easier by following the guidelines also:
     - Maintain social distancing OUTSIDE the facility and school grounds
     - Wear masks
     - Adhere to the drop-off and pick up points

Drop-off & Pick-up
All players should enter the field through the main gate at 110 William Street, Newark….located behind the soccer goal.  Players should NOT enter through the front door at 520 Dr. MLK Blvd., Newark, NJ.   We check in and check out from the cafeteria each morning at 9am and in the afternoon at 3pm

Players will NOT be allowed to enter through the school on MLK Jr Blvd.
