Ski Leagues

WNSL: We are a member of the Wisconsin Nordic Ski League (WNSL). WNSL is the Wisconsin in organizing body for middle and high school cross country skiing. There are three conferences, Northern, Central, and Southern; LNST is in the Northern Conference. WNSL provides a similar function as WIAA to other sports.
CXC: Some of our skiers also compete (at their own expense) in the Central Cross Country Division ("CXC") of the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Junior and Youth Development program. CXC organizes regional races for junior and youth skiers and teams who compete at national races. Wisconsin and Michigan skiers are in the Great Lakes Division GLD) of CXC. Skiers have opportunity to compete in a series of races each ski season to accumulate points and earn a spot on the GLD team for national championships, such as the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Cross Country Ski Junior Nationals.
Citizen Races: Our teams also race occasionally in citizen/community races. Skinnyski.com compiles information on local and regional citizen races and cross country ski trail locations and snow conditions.
