OFF-SEASON TRAINING
In the off-season, we occasionally get together for some fitness, rollerskiing, and fun!

DETAILED INFORMATION

LNST HS + MS Rollerski Sessions, 4 weeks (Location TBD/will be announced at least one day before session)

·         Monday June 5, 6-7:30p

·         Monday June 12, 6-7:30p

·         Monday June 19, 6-7:30p

·         Monday June 26, 6-7:30p
o   Fee: If you do not have rollerskis, then $20 rollerski rental fee.   $5 rental fee per session (pending skis available).  Otherwise, no fee with your own rollerskis.

Bring skate ski boots, poles, and helmet. Wear bright colored clothing. Safety is a priority on rollerskis. These sessions will include a warm-up, lesson, skills, and fitness on rollerskis.  The athletes will be grouped by ability, so new rollerskiers will be split from experienced rollerskiers.  This is great for newbies to learn to rollerski and great for experienced rollerskiers to increase their skills!  Led by Coach Erich Kern
(New rollerskiers: Check with coaches if this is appropriate for your skier’s stage of development.)

LNST HS + MS Agility, Speed & Strength Sessions, 6 weeks, 5:00-6:30p

·         Tuesday June 20

·         Tuesday June 27

·         (Tuesday first week of July TBD)

·         Tuesday July 11

·         Tuesday July 18

·         Tuesday July 25

o   Location: Marshfield Clinic Woodruff Center, 1446 1st Ave, Woodruff

o   Fee: $0

These sessions will include a warm-up, stretching, and fitness activities to develop speed, strength and agility.  Led by Dr. Jim Mullen.

CAMPS

MS CXC Igor Legacy  U12-U14 Overnight Camp, once in July

·         June 23-25, 2023 [CLOSED/FULL]  OR August 18-20, 2023

o   Location: Mt. Telemark Northwoods (Cable, WI). Or, Marine on St. Croix, MN

o   Fee: $165

Follow the link and register on own. This camp has been attended by many LNST skiers in the past – great fun and opportunity to meet other MS skiers from across WI, MN, and MI and for skiers from our team bond. Let us know if your skier is going in GC – this will help coordinate carpooling.

WNSL Central Conference MS Day Camp TBD 
South Mountain Elementary School, 5400 Bittersweet Road, Wausau, WI 54401  
Bring your own lunch, equipment, etc. 
10-Noon:  Roller ski with like skill level.  
Noon -1:   Picnic on school fields.
1-3:           Ski Hike to top Observation Tower on Rib Mountain or hike up the hill for 1:30 before turning around
3-5:           Dodgeball & ice-cream

**WNSL Northern Conference HS + MS Overnight Camp, August 4-6, Ironwood, WI. **

2 nights, Fri after lunch 1p arrival through Sun Lunch 1-1:30 departure

o   Location: Manitowish Waters, Discovery Center

o   Fee: $150
