Ages of Play:
11 - 12 Years Old
** Must be older than 11 and younger then 13 by 1 Aug of the respective year of play.**

Development:
For 12U teams we shift focus to more advanced fundamentals while continuing to emphasize safety and sportsmanship. Players at this age begin to refine and hone their skills in blocking, tackling, and ball handling, with a greater emphasis on proper technique to avoid injuries. They also learn more complex aspects of the game, including offensive and defensive formations, route running, and reading plays. Coaches teach strategic thinking, such as recognizing opponents' schemes and making adjustments during the game. Physical conditioning becomes more structured, and teamwork, discipline, and leadership skills are heavily reinforced to prepare players for higher levels of competition.

Differences with Game:
Teams conduct kick-offs, punts, and follow Georgia High School Rules
