Development:
For Mitey Mites we build upon the basic skills introduced at younger ages while fostering greater coordination and teamwork. At this stage, the focus remains on fun and development, but children begin learning more structured routines that include basic stunts, jumps, and simple choreography. Coaches continue to prioritize safety, ensuring all activities are age-appropriate and that children are learning in a supportive environment. Along with physical development, Pop Warner emphasizes teamwork, listening skills, and sportsmanship, helping these young cheerleaders gain confidence and a strong foundation for progressing in the sport.
