Bayshore Sports and Recreation Commission is run by volunteers only.  Through the hard work and dedication of these volunteers, we are able to give our Bayshore community different sports programs for our children to enjoy.

There are several opportunities for Volunteering.  

Little League Volunteer Opportunities   (Allowed to have 4 coaches)
  
Team Manager --> setup team practices, create fair lineups, help in the development of players, communicate with parents, and teach players sportsmanship while being in a competitive environment.

Assistant Coach --> Will assist the team manager in practices, help in the development of players, communicate with parents and teach players sportsmanship while being in a competitive environment. 

Team Mom --> Once the team manager has been selected, the team manager is allowed to select a team mom from the roster received.

Little League Committee member --> The Bayshore Sports and Recreation Commission is always looking for volunteers to be part of the baseball committee. You will be part of the group that brings new ideas, implements fair play and helps run baseball day to day operations.

Basketball Volunteer Opportunities  (Allowed to have 2 coaches)

Head Coach --> setup team practices, create fair lineups, help in the development of players, communicate with parents, and teach players sportsmanship while being in a competitive environment.

Assistant Coach --> Will assist the team manager in practices, help in the development of players, communicate with parents and teach players sportsmanship while being in a competitive environment. (1 Assistant coaches per team).

Basketball Committee member --> The Bayshore Sports and Recreation Commission is always looking for volunteers to be part of the basketball committee. You will be part of the group that brings new ideas, implements fair play and helps run basketball day to day operations.

There are also opportunities to be part of the Bayshore Sports and Recreation Sports Committee. To be considered to be part of the Executive board, one must first be a member of a Sport committee. Bayshore Sports and Recreation Commission holds the rights to invite Committee members to sit on the executive board.
