Bayshore Travel 

The program was started by the Bayshore Little League Commissioner, Billy Pachamango. This is a new program, that began on July 2019 with Baseball. Travel is a competitive league, the league they register on is called USABL.  The objective of the travel program is to build teams to win in the travel league and tournaments. 

There is no town restriction on joining or being part of a Bayshore travel team. The Bayshore travel program is governed by different rules not applied to Bayshore Little League. Please do not confuse Bayshore Little League with Bayshore Travel, 2 separate programs with different set of rules.

We currently have 3 teams in the Bayshore Sharks travel program.  We have an 8U, 9U and recently formed a 10U Baseball team. We are always looking to expand on teams. If you are interested send an email to the Bayshore Little League commissioner. You can also keep looking at this web page, Facebook or Instagram for opportunities.  As of right now, we are currently NOT looking for any players. All 3 teams are currently full.

Parents, if you are ever interested in Travel baseball, please note there is a tryout in order to join. Travel teams are not for everyone, it is base solely on the competitive drive.  Our goal in Bayshore travel is to elevate the players, so our local town talent elevates when the players are older. Another goal of the travel program is to get these boys ready for Cooperstown NY tournament.

We work with and partner up with other travel programs if you're ever interested.
The Cage Academy - Their travel teams start from 8U-16U. They also have cages in Cliffwood for those interested in getting extra work in. If you require lessons, they have several coaches available for training. Bayshore Little League works with them, in the off season by setting up clinics with discounts for Bayshore Little League members.

Jersey Giants Baseball - their travel teams start at 13U-18U, mainly on 60/90 fields. They give coaches and player clinics to our Bayshore Little League players

The Jersey Dugout - its a training facility in Morganville. They have supported our Bayshore Buddy Ball program (special needs). They offer lessons and cage time as well. This if for those who are interested in continuing to get better.

Bayshore Sports and Recreation

For those coaches or parents that are reading this.  We hold the name Bayshore in high esteem, so please understand that not everyone can be a coach for a Bayshore Sharks team.

Travel Coach
For a travel team manager, we are looking for a coach that has played the game in an organize and competitive manner.  Coaches that have played in there youth, played in High School and/ or College are coaches we look at first. We like a coach who not only can teach the players but the game to get them ready for Middle School baseball. Also, travel coach should teach them responsibility, accountability and love for the great game (baseball or softball).

Assistant coaches, we usually leave to the team manager. But we would like the assistants to have some knowledge of the game and have some qualities that will help the team succeed.  We feel it is very important and a lost art to actually train players in footwork and agility.  

Bayshore Travel would prefer not to have a regular dad as a coach with no knowledge of the sport.  We try to avoid situations of "daddy ball" or "coaches son always plays short".  Bayshore Travel program attempts to guide their selected managers, but ultimately its their decisions on who they would like on their coaching staff.

Parents, please do not expect these coaches to teach a lot in a day or 2 of weekly practice.  It is the parents responsibility to take players for private lessons. To throw the ball when they are not practicing. Travel baseball, better any travel team is a big cost and huge responsibility.  Please be sure you are ready to commit to the practices, travels, games and tournaments or this may not be for you.
