SDLL Spring 2024 Registration  

New! Registration for the Spring 2024 Softball season will be open on Monday, January 15, 2024 at 8:00am.

- Tee Ball (League Ages 4-6; shared with baseball)
- Softball Rookie Coach Pitch (League Ages 6-8)
- Softball Minors Player Pitch (League Ages 8-11)
- Softball Majors Player Pitch (League Ages 10-12)
- Softball Seniors Player Pitch (League Ages 13-16)

Registration for the Spring 2024 Baseball season will open on Monday, January 22, 2024 at 8:00 am. 

Spring 2024 Baseball Divisions

Registration Fees for Spring 2024

- Tee Ball Division - $170
- Baseball Machine Pitch, Player Pitch and Intermediate Divisions - $220
- Baseball Seniors Division - $225
- Softball Coach Pitch, Minors, Majors and Seniors - $195

Important Notes About Registration

• League age 6 players interested in playing baseball this season will register for our Tee Ball Division. Some of these players will have the opportunity to play in our Baseball (Rookie) Lower Machine Pitch Division following the assessment during player evaluations.If you have a league age 6 player interested in playing softball, please register your child for the Softball Rookie Coach Pitch Division.

  • SDLL Board of Directors will continue the partnership with Bull City Little League for our Seniors Baseball and Seniors Softball divisions. In Spring 2024, Bull City Little League will host all baseball players within their league and South Durham Little League will host all softball players within our league.

  • League ages for baseball and softball players in our fall season are determined by the 2024 Little League Baseball and Softball League Age Calculators.

• Scholarships are available for families who want to participate but may not be able to afford the registration fees at this time. To learn more about scholarships, please email [email protected].

• All 11 and 12 year old players that are interested in the Intermediate Division must register for both the AAA/Majors and the Intermediate Division. There is no additional cost for the dual AAA/Majors and Intermediate registration. More information will be released in mid-February on the number spots available in the Intermediate Division after the League has processed all registrations.
  

  
  

Player Evaluations

- Skill evaluations are mandatory for all baseball and softball players ages 6-13.
- Evaluations are 5-6 stations covering athleticism, speed, infielding, outfielding, hitting and pitching (if applicable). Players will sign-up for a 20 minute window on evaluation day based upon their age. More information will be available regarding evaluations after registration is completed.
- Seniors Baseball evaluations will be conducted by Bull City Little League.
- Seniors Softball evaluations will be conducted later in the Spring.  
- Please send an email to our SDLL Vice President of Baseball ([email protected]) or SDLL Vice President of Softball ([email protected]) if you are unable to attend the skills evaluations.

- Sunday, February 11, 2024 (2:00pm - 6:00pm)
- Saturday, February 17, 2024 (9:00am - 1:00pm) - Rainout Date

Baseball Divisions (Ages 6-13):
- Saturday, February 3, 2024 (9:00am - 3:00pm)
- Saturday, February 10, 2024 (9:00am - 3:00pm) - Rainout Date
