Welcome to South Durham Little League! Registration for all Fall Baseball Divisions opens on Wednesday, July 24, 2024. Both boys and girls are welcome to participate. Please note that we use the 2025 Little League Baseball Age Chart to determine league ages for the Fall 2024 season.

Our Tee Ball Division is open to all players league age 4-6 (birthday falls between 09/01/2018 and 08/31/2021). Machine Pitch, Cactus, and Grapefruit divisions are open to players league age 7–12 (birthday falls between 9/1/2012 and 08/31/2018) and players league age 6 (birthday falls between 09/01/2018 and 08/31/2019) who have played a SPRING Tee Ball season with SDLL or another official baseball organization and wish to be considered for machine pitch. Note: if you have a league age 6 player evaluating to play machine pitch, you will still register the player for Tee Ball. If the player is placed in machine pitch after evaluations, he/she will be moved into the other division and you will be contacted with more details. League age 9 years olds should register for Machine Pitch but may move to Kid Pitch based on evaluations. 

Our Intermediate division is open for registration to players who are league age 13. If you are league age 11 or 12, you may evaluate and place into the Intermediate division.

All players (except the Tee Ball Division) MUST attend the skills evaluation session. This includes league age 6 year olds wishing to be considered to play machine pitch. Fall skills evaluations for players will be held the weekend of August 9-11 at the Parkwood Ball Field.

Please note that a combination of League Age, Spring 2024 placement and end-of-season coach evaluations, and Fall 2024 evaluation scores will be used to determine the division a player is placed in for the Fall 2024 season.

Our Fall season is focused on learning and player development. Please keep in mind that the division your child is placed in for Fall 2024 may not necessarily be the same division he/she is placed in for Spring. If you have any questions regarding this, please contact: [email protected]
