Head Coach Jim Koerner and the NCCU Staff will bring over 30 years of college and professional baseball experience to the Historic Durham Athletic Park (500 W. Corporation Street, Durham 27702) from June 24 - June 26 (Monday – Wednesday).  The objective of the camp for players age 6 to 14 is to provide hands-on skill instruction in all facets of the game, as well as live game experience that will reinforce game instincts and situational play.  The NCCU Baseball camps have been recognized for the great player to coach ratios, which allows for a more personalized experience.  This enhances the learning environment, player development, overall fun and quality of the week.  For more information or to register, click here: Summer Camp.

Duke Baseball 2019 Kid’s Academy and/or Games Camp – June 17-20 for ages 6-14

The Duke Baseball Kid’s Academy is designed to give young players the opportunity to learn the game in a safe, structured (…and FUN) environment. Learning the fundamentals is a crucial aspect to the success of any player. Players will learn individual skills, baseball fundamentals, and team strategy. The Academy will teach through the areas of outfield, infield, pitching, catching, rundowns, and base running.  The Duke Baseball Games Camp is designed to be taken in addition to the Kid’s Academy and is an opportunity to utilize the baseball skills learned in the morning session in a competitive games environment. While not playing games, campers will participate in various drills and stations that emphasize hitting mechanics and fundamentals.

Both the Kid’s Academy and Games Camp are two separate camps that are designed to be taken together, but may be taken separately. For more information or to register, please click here.

NOTE:  If you have attended the Kid’s Academy in past years, please note that Duke Baseball has moved the camp a week later so as not to conflict with the Durham Public Schools graduation exercises that are hosted each year at Duke. Moving to the week of June 17th will make for a much easier/more convenient check in, drop off, and pick up process.
