- A - Coach pitch is the first level of our instructional Minors softball programs – it’s for players who have at least one year of T-ball experience or first year players older than League Age 5.
- A - Coach pitch is geared toward teaching sound softball fundamentals such as proper throwing, fielding and batting techniques.
- A - Coach pitch is your child’s first opportunity to hit a pitched baseball (an adult pitcher) and should the ball not be put in play will hit from a tee.
- Your child will play in all of the defensive innings and will bat in all innings of a regular game.
- We will attempt to place players on teams grouped roughly by neighborhood elementary schools.
- If you would like to request a “teammate” for your player to be assigned with, while not 100% guaranteed but we do try, please coordinate with the other family before registering we will need "mutual agreement" for cross-referencing.
- Regular season games might includes Interlock versus Snoqualmie Valley LL (SVLL) teams, Snoqualmie Valley North LL (SVN), Eastlake, Sammamish, Issaquah or Redmond.
OPEN SLOTS AND WAIT LIST
To ensure team roster sizes do not grow beyond the appropriate range for player development, enjoyment, playing opportunities and coaching management we will cap each A roster to 7-8 players.
"Available slots" = we have enough manager submissions to form teams with up to 10 players/team.
"Wait List" = we are waiting on additional volunteer Manager submissions to form another roster of 7-8 players.
After the submission and approval of new-manager(s) we will transition the next 10 submissions based on registration date from "Wait List" to "Approved"
Before posting rosters we will work to honor Manager requests and Teammate requests to the best of our ability - but not guaranteed
Our goal and desire is ensure every player who registers has a team to play for - but Falls LL needs volunteer Managers.
