Typically once a player reaches Little League Age 13, many players move on from Little League and play locally with a "club/travel" team in either the Seattle Elite League or the local Sandy Koufax League. Both of which typically require a significant dollar investment ($2,500 up to $4,000) and require travel to other areas around the Puget Sound. Both of which are typically tryout based. Some players don’t perform well under the tryout stress or can be late bloomers (kids that develop physically a little bit later in age), thus end up not making some of these teams.
In case you didn't already know, there is an alternative within Falls Little League, a path for 13-16 year-olds who want to keep playing baseball. The "Big Field" programs within Falls Little League offers players and families an alternative to the often resource intensive "club/travel" programs. In certain situations, if a player is not selected onto a "club/travel team", but still carries the passion for playing, Falls Little League has a home for you. Looking for some flexibility to invest time and resources elsewhere, but still want to play the game? Falls Little League has a home for you.
Our Big Fields programs offer an affordable option for players 13-16 to keep playing baseball - club ball isn't the only path.
