Falls Little League Baseball

Falls Little League has leagues and divisions of play for boys and girls of all abilities, as prescribed by Little League International. Player age is determined by a player's League Age (not actual age or grade). You can find your player's league age by using the 2026 Softball League Age Chart or 2026 Baseball League Age Chart. Please note, league age is determined differently for softball and baseball.

Coed Tee Ball

League Ages 4-5

  • Tee Ball is your child’s introduction to Falls Little League. No prior experience is expected or required. Falls Tee Ball is coed and is focused on teaching basic skills such as fielding and batting in a casual environment.

Lower Division - A Baseball

League Ages 6-7

  • Division A Baseball is the first level of our instructional Lower Division Baseball program. It is focused on teaching sound baseball fundamentals and a love of the game.

  • Division A will be playing RapidBaseball (Level 1) this year. RapidBaseball utilizes machine pitching and a quick play form to optimize offensive and defensive opportunities each game For more information on RapidBaseball visit www.rapidbaseball.org.

Lower Division - AA Baseball

League Ages 7-8

  • Division AA Baseball is the second level of our instructional Lower Division Baseball program. It is designed for players who have had a least one year of Division A Baseball experience.

  • Division AA Baseball plays RapidBaseball (Level 2). RapidBaseball utilizes machine pitching and a quick play form to optimize offensive and defensive opportunities each game For more information on RapidBaseball visit www.rapidbaseball.org.

Upper Division - AAA Baseball

League Ages 9-10*

  • Division AAA Baseball is the first level of our Upper Division Baseball program. Players will expand on the fundamentals learned in AA while increasing consistency with throwing, catching, and hitting. This is the first year of 100% player-pitch.

  • All AAA players must attend the mandatory Skills Assessment.

  • *To be eligible to be considered to be drafted onto a AAA team, League Age 8 players must request to play-up during registration and attend the Skills Assessment.

Upper Division - Coast Baseball

League Ages 10-11*

  • Coast Baseball is the second level of our Upper Division Baseball program. Players should have past success at the AAA level and be ready to start hitting pitching of different speeds. At this level of play, there is greater emphasis on understanding and executing on offense.

  • All Coast players must attend the mandatory Skills Assessment.

  • *To be eligible to be considered to be drafted onto a Coast team, League Age 9 players must request to play-up during registration and attend the Skills Assessment.

Upper Division - Majors Baseball

League Ages 11-12*

  • Majors Baseball is the third tier of our Upper Division Baseball program. Players will be challenged by facing a variety of pitches and defensive awareness will continue to develop.

  • All Majors players must attend the mandatory Skills Assessment.

  • *To be eligible to be considered to be drafted onto a Coast team, League Age 10 players must request to play-up during registration and attend the Skills Assessment.

Big Fields Division - Intermediate Baseball

League Age 13

  • Intermediate Baseball utilizes a 50-foot pitching distance and 70-foot base paths.

Big Fields Division - Junior Baseball

League Age 14

  • Junior Baseball utilizes a 60-foot pitching distance and 90-foot base paths.

Falls Little League Softball

Lower Division - A Softball

League Ages 6-7

  • Division A Softball is 100% coach-pitch, continuing the skill building that starts in the Tee Ball program.  Players will continue to develop individual hitting, throwing, and catching mechanics in a safe and fun environment. In addition, they’ll start to learn more rules of the game, with more focus on base running and team fielding techniques.

Lower Division - AA Softball

League Ages 7-8

  • Division AA Softball is the next step in our softball players development. It is designed for players who have had at least one year of Division A Softball experience. Players learn to pitch and do so in games. Coaches come in in relief if the ball is not put into play off of a kid pitcher. Additional game fundamentals and rules of play are introduced and taught.

Upper Division - AAA Softball

League Ages 8*-10

  • *League Age 8 players must request play-up in registration process and are required to attend the Skills Assessment for evaluation.
  • All AAA players must attend the mandatory Skills Assessment.
  • Division AAA Softball is a continued evolution of kid-pitch with a normal defensive layout consisting of 9 players. It is a kid-pitch/coach-pitch hybrid with an emphasis on balancing the development of the kid pitcher while preserving opportunities to keep the game moving. The entire roster bats, but added growth skills are continued to be formed as it relates to pitching and hitting mechanics.  
  • Rosters are formed via a draft process.

Upper Division - Coast Softball

League Ages 9-11

  • All Coast players must attend the mandatory Skills Assessment.
  • Coast Softball is an introduction to competitive softball but still maintains an instructional focus. Coast is 100% kid-pitch.
  • Rosters are formed via a draft process.

Upper Division - Majors Softball

League Ages 11-12

  • All Majors players must attend the mandatory Skills Assessment.
  • Majors Softball is the first truly competitive program in Little League.
  • Rosters are formed via a draft process.

Juniors Softball

League Ages 12-14

  • Juniors Softball is a program focused on fostering love for the game and helping players continue developing their skills and confidence in the field. It's an opportunity to continue experiencing the joys of Little League while preparing for the next level of play. 
  • League Age 12 Majors players have the option to dual roster, allowing them to enjoy playing on both Majors and Juniors. 
  • High School players who are League Age 14 are also welcome to join and continue playing the sport they love. 
  • A merge with neighboring Little Leagues may be necessary to field an entire team.
