WANAQUE WARRIOR 2024 Football

The Wanaque Warrior Football Program is starting its 54th year this season! The Warrior Football Program stresses family, education, community and perseverance in a fun environment as cornerstones of our program. Please come and join this tradition!

2024 Programs Offered

Flag Football - this program is designed for first year players in Kindergarten or 1st grade. Practice is one night during the week for an hour and on Saturday mornings during September. Starting in late September or early October there will be some games on Saturday afternoons verse other teams in our league.

Flex Football - this program is for 1st and 2nd graders. This is a modified flag program. The players will be in full equipment but there is no tackling and limited contact. Practice starts on or about August 8th and will be three nights per week. During the school year, practices will be Tuesday through Thursdays with most games being played on Saturday afternoon. There may be a few Sunday games.

Tackle Football - this program is for 3rd through 8th graders. Players are in full equipment. Practice starts on or about August 8th and will be four nights per week. During the school year, practices will be Tuesday through Thursdays with most games being played on Saturday evenings, with one or two Friday night games possible.

For our tackle divisions if there are more than 23 players registered there will be two teams. The second games will be played on Sunday afternoons.

2024 Football Registration Fees

Flag Football - $35

Flex Football - regular fee $100; however,

* the fee is reduced to $90 if you register prior to May 31; and

* the fee is increased to $125 if you register after June 30

All other divisions - regular fee is $210; however

* the fee is reduced to $185 if you register prior to May 31 ; and

* the fee is increased to $260 if you register after June 30

For these higher cost divisions we have added the ability to pay over two installments - one at the time you register and the second on July 31. Please be aware that there is an EXTRA $3 Sports Connect administrative charge for each payment. This is not a Wanaque fee, and we are simply passing along the platform's charge.

There is a $10 discount for each of 2nd and 3rd children in a family
