For over 75 years, Little League® has given millions of children throughout the world the opportunity to have fun and make friends while playing the sport they love.  Without the support from parents and guardians, Little League could not have become the world’s largest and most respected youth sports organization.
Often considered the first few pages of a person’s lifelong scrapbook, the Little League experience is built on fun, family, and friendships, and promotes healthy physical activity while strengthening communities.
For more than seven decades, Little League has served as an extended classroom with parents trusting Little League to assist in helping their children grow into respectful, upstanding adults through learning the importance of loyalty, teamwork, and fair play.  
Parents often find as much satisfaction in joining Little League as their children.  The social aspect of Little League is fun and engaging with games being played within a community where neighbors know neighbors. As a volunteer-run organization, Little League appreciates all of the parents who devote their time to run their local leagues.  It’s due to that volunteer effort that children can build memories that will last a lifetime.  From parents, to coaches, to concession stand volunteers, and everyone in between, we are all proud members of the Little League family!
