Dear Westwood Youth Softball family,
We hope all our WYS families are healthy and safe.
With the recent announcement from Governor Baker that youth sports will
be allowed to return in a limited fashion in Phase 2 and that youth
sports games can be played in Phase 3, WYS has canceled all softball
activities for the Spring 2020 season. We are optimistic that late
June, July, and August will present an opportunity for softball
activities, as we know that some families welcome an organized
activity. In place of the spring season we are in the planning stages
to offer a summer program tentatively scheduled for June, July and
August.
Westwood Youth Softball Board of Directors voted
unanimously to credit all families who paid for Spring 2020 registration
with the full amount of registration fees.
Credit Process
A credit for paid Spring 2020 registrations will be applied to your WYS
account. You may use the credits for any family member’s future
registration with Westwood Youth Softball. Credits do not expire. If
you wish to receive a credit you do not need to take any action.
Donation
Alternatively, you may choose to donate the value of your registration
fees to support Westwood Youth Softball 501(c)(3). Donated fees will
help fund ongoing Westwood Youth Softball programs and are tax
deductible.
Refund
If you would like to request
a refund of paid Spring 2020 registration fees, we will issue a credit
to the credit card used in the original transaction.
To choose the donation or refund option, go to www.westwoodyouthsoftball.com and login to the account you used to register for the Spring 2020 season. From the My Account screen, click the blue “Programs Available!” button. You
will be presented with a screen that gives you the option to select
2020 Spring Season Donation or 2020 Spring Season Refund. Navigate through the Continue buttons and then click Submit Order.
Timing
All credits and donations, or refunds will be processed as quickly as possible. Please note that it may take time to process a refund as we will need to work with Sports Connect, our website provider. The Order Total and Balance noted on the website will be $0.00. But, your donation or refund will reflect the full registration fees paid for the Spring 2020 season. However,
we are not able to return the $3 processing fee from the original
transaction. If you want to select the donation or refund option, please
login and complete your request in the system by May 31. After that date, we will default to granting the credit to your account.
Again, to receive a credit to your account you do not need to take any action. You will not be charged another processing fee when using your credit to register for a future Westwood Youth Softball program.
